Oh my gosh! All the Tsukineko people must have been so busy!! Not only do they have two new colors of VersaFine, they announced a new VersaMark line called Dazzle, that has 2 colors! Gee...they'll keep us busy too,LOL.
The first one is called FROST, which has silvery pearly pigments in it,and the second is CHAMPAGHE,with a little bit darker pearl 'dazzling' in it. I've been told they do exactly the same things as the original VersaMark(but with extra sparkle!) so they can be used as embossing ink, resist ink, and much more.
OK,I should try them right away!!
Here's my first attempt. I decided use the Frost first.( all stamps are from Beeswax Rubber Stamps)
1.Stamp Daisies on Glossy paper with MEMENTO Rich Cocoa.
2.Using Versa Mark Marker, trace some parts of stamped flower, then clear emboss.
3.Sponge MEMENTO Cantaloupe around the flower with a Jumbo Dauber.
4.Add MEMENTO Summer Sky around the image.
5.With VersaMark Dazzle Frost, stamp Fern Leaves as background, then clear emboss.
6.Deepen the edges of the panel with MEMENTO Danube Blue and set aside.
7.Randomly stamp background on folded card with VersaMark Dazzle Frost.
8.Adshere panels to the card base.
I'm not sure digital images do the justice..it looks more DAZZLING in person.
Here's one more card which I made almost same way, but in this card,
I overstamped the daisies with VersaMark Dazzle Frost where I used versamarker on the other card. Hope you can see the difference.
I'm planning on using VersaMark Dazzle Champagne next time! Until then, happy stamping. Kazuko
